We are happy to share a great achievement of the company Ahlstrom-Munksjö Italia: the Behavior-Based Safety process in their Italian production sites has obtained the BBS accreditation from the Cambridge Center for Behavioral Studies (CCBS). Their behavioral safety program has been awarded the Gold Behavioral Safety Accreditation.
This is the first international accreditation of a BBS process to be assigned in Italy!
Dr. Timothy Ludwig, head of CCBS accreditation, congratulated the company for “successfully meeting the stringent criteria of the Gold Level Accreditation”. Commissioners Alan Cheung and Sigurdur Sigurdsson noted that “all stakeholders in the company take an active role and are committed to the success. The process is continuously evaluated, with constant improvement efforts. Focus has turned from pure results driven safety management to behavior-based management, which is to be applauded”.
We would like to add also our congratulations to the company and to all its employees, who have started a process rigorously based on the principles of behavioral management, and have kept it alive from 2015 to today with perseverance!
